Somebody suggested to me that there might be a difference in the effectiveness between the liquid and the paste forms. Has anyone else heard of/had any experience of this?

I've worked in the pharmaceutical world for many many years testing vetinary and human medicines and ther may be a difference between all products depending on the formulation. For example take a paracetamol product, one has codeine added the other not, paracetamol plus codeine is more effective as the codeine aids absorption.
So panacur paste may deliver the active ingredient at a different rate than the liquid formulation.
