Had my 3rd session with the Czech girls yesterday. My horse was so calm for it and I am starting to get it now!! We worked on him doing *anything* - and then relaxing. We'd rein back, drop the rope on his neck, and just leave him to chill, idea being he'll ultimately be able to jump, gallop, whatever, and understand to chill once asked to stop he's currently incapable of being still once *woken up* - and most instructors say to me *it's just his blood just get used to it*.

In fact he got so laid back in between trots, tasks and pets he took to doing lots of tongue rolling and 'letting it all hang out' :blushing: :D

Have another session tonight after work - she's very fond of my horse and says he's very very intelligent *cue proud mammy* hehe ;)

Also - we booked an arena for her to give a 2-day clinic and it filled up just today - I didn't even advertise it!

I've got her dvd of her performances & if I ever manage to chop it down I'll share her vids online so you can understand how effective she is - cos words just don't cut it for this woman.

I think Niamhy sussed it out with the Festival videos. She might be able to tell you tomorrow.

Very interesting HS..

re the DVD, I had to actually get Teezer's video camera, plug it into my machine and record the bits I wanted then, using Windows Movie Maker (which is very simple to use).
