I'm on the hunt for some nice new jodhpurs, looking for comfortable fit, quality fabric which wears well. What are you favourite brands? Any recommendations?

Dublin full seat ones then. I love them, they wash well and are a good fit. They arent very expensive either.

tallyho (sp?) for every thing, nearly all my jods are tally ho, my cream ones are 5 years old and i still wear them to show jumping/hunts etc. having said that, i got a pair form a friend that are harry hall and they must be at least 30 years old (they re all puffy and baggy at the top, needless to say they aren't used much :sniggers: i got shires ones and they shrunk in the was.

shires saddle huggers. Really well priced but great quality and fit and v comfortable to wear. I have a pair in white for dressage and canary for showing. Plus the kids ones are only 35 euro!
I also have cream tri turfmaster jods for show jumping and they are so comfortable and a bargain at 29 euro!

Pikeur all the way. Get the ones with the full suede seat - they are well worth the money! I have a wardrobe full of show jods, but I got two pairs of these around the same time a few years ago (bought one pair, the other was a present - I'm not that flush!! :D ) and I have worn nothing else since.
I've had both pairs now since 2006 and there have been a lot of shows since then and they still look as good as new. They are really hard wearing and the full seat really does stick you to the saddle.

Tallyho!!!! :)
Tallyho, great wear & tear!! Got a pair of shires hipsters, great fit, love the look & mega comfy but 3 washes & stitches are coming out in legs seams , such a pity :( Harry Hall is great too, white dressage pair with seat : looks 9/10 but riding comfort 6/10. But my "big last the test of timers" is Caldene, I have the same pair of those cream jods since I was 16 & you'd do a show class in them tommorow!!

I have pikeur ones for shows and i love them ( they were a present )
For normal wear my favourites are Dublin ( really nice and light for the summer ) and Eurostar ( I find them really hard wearing )

Tattini..they are kinda breeches.loose but not too baggy. have pockets which are pretty handy and really good quality! Also really breathable. never feel all sticky, even in the dead heat!

I love Shires Saddlehuggers, more partial to the Hipsters but also have a normal pair. Although the normal pair has a turn up at the end and, that is kind of uncomfortable when worn inside jodh boots and gaiters.
Have used Tally Ho in the past, they are also very comfortable and would deffo recomend them, :)
