Ive got a black 17" one.. But its not that comfy to jump in. Last time I enquired on here someone suggested trying ebay..

It's completely up to you but I personally wouldn't buy a specific WH saddle unless you are planning on doing an awful lot of high end working hunters - that might just be because I am stingy though! :D

I actually use my brown Berney Olympic saddle and it works fine - it's very comfortable to ride in too so judges like it.

The WH saddle will admittedly be straighter cut to show off the shoulder, but you could as easily (and possibly more cheaply?) get an attractive gp saddle that's not too forward cut?

Otherwise Ebay is your man - good range of showing saddles on there. Obviously, proceed with caution so you don't end up with something that has a broken tree etc.

Horsequest.co.uk should have a good selection too.

Dublintack.com might have some too, but from what I have seen on there, they are not technically working hunter saddles - you will see the same saddles popping up on their website under eventing and jumping headings too!

Do keep an eye on Ebay - If you know exactly what you want then you could get a great bargain :)

Thanks everyone, it was quiet in work yesterday so I had a good look on the internet.

Didnt see anything much on ebay, although they did have one, Brand new for £130. Was shocked and a little cautious over the price/quality.

My own saddle is very forward cut hence why I am after a WH type saddle, I possibly wouldnt bother otherwise. Although its got to be a help for the Stressage:blushing:, compared to what I have.

There are some lovely new ones around that seem to range from £600 to £1000 ish. However I dont need a brand new saddle just something straight ish smart and comfy.

I noticed a few on Horsequest and will be having another look there. Will check out Dublin tack as well.

Will continue looking.

:thankyou:
