I'm looking for a bombproof cob, from 15hh to 15.2/3
It must be capable of hunting and pony club and riding club!!!

It's not for me it's for friends and they also have a 15.3 mare for sale. Not sure what age. She's done riding club and hunted a bit but not really suitable for hunting. Perfect for riding club, eventing and that sort of thing! Bit of spirit to her!! Dark bay mare! Will know more details in the next couple of days!

done deal is great for having a brouse on but don't put up any wanted ads, you'll end up with 50 calls a day with people trying to of load every equine under the sun on you, especially being the ressecion and all, just a tip ;) also put the word out as much as possible, it's amazing how many people will spend ages looking for a horse nd it turns out the neighbours cousin or the guy tht works in the tack shop (etc) has the perfect one(like me and alvin). farriers/dentists are great to ask as they know some many horses. good luck with the search:)

sorry, just wanted to add, if you do put an add up be as specific as possible, this is just my opinion but a friend of a friend had 40 calls with in 2 hours of putting up a wanted ad, although she did find a suitable pony (to my knowledge). i'm no expert though and i'm sure you'd know alot more than me when it comes to this buisness good luck though

just a brain wave, when i was looking for a horse someone on here (can't remember who:blushing: but i think i've an idea, sorry) mentioned a horse that sounds suitable in a responce to my 'wanted', if that helps, sorry, i'm rambling on about stuff now:blushing:

Change of plan!! Horse is still wanted but needs to be smaller. 14.2 to 15hands! For a very competetent 12 year old. Still needs to be an all rounder that's also suitable for hunting!!

i'm racking my brains for you, at my yard there's always horses and ponies coming and going, they've got a nice selection of 14.2hhs and some lovely cobs so will keep and eye out for you and ask around.

Hmmm though I always laugh when I see this description  It reminds me when I used to work in a garden centre - everyone always wanted an evergreen shrub that didn't grew too big, had pretty flowers and was easy to take care of!!!

same with "bombproof cob, quiet 15.2 hh, good all rounder, no vices" -If breeders could come up with a breed matching these specifics somebody would make an absolute fortune

Not to sure that I have ever met a horse like this! Is any horse completly bombproof? I think that all horses character encompase elements of scared, confident, bold - otherwise they would probably never do things like hunt, jumping xc etc

Anyone met the perfect sized cob with impecable manners?

Your absolutely right! Haha.

I suppose it doesn't have to be bombproof but something that has done everything and can do everything!! I sold them a cob a couple of years ago, he's brilliant! The only thing is that he weaves, now I always had him out and never saw him weave, didn't even know that he did it!! So some vices are acceptable in a way!
