well done!
Sorry but but I am completely paraniod now after my own recent leadrope experiences but it looks from the pics that he's standing on the leadrope - even with someone holding him could be a bit risky to be at his back end if he is - it may just be whatever way the picture is taken though so feel free to ignore me!!

Good stuff well done -
1ws i train all the horses i have had and have using a lot of rope skills once i put the rope over their neck they stand still - and also i ground tie them so when rope hangs to the ground they automatically stand still (take lots of time)
Also i do a lot of work with them in regards to pressure and release so when they do stand on their leadrope they do not panic - they stop suss out which legs needs to be lifted up to release rope and they do so.
even i let them walk around with the rope dragging the ground so it gets them used to release from pressure This is so usefull as if you do fall off a horse like this if the reins touch the ground they will stop or if they walk onto them they will not get in a blind panic and break all around them.
Some day you have time try it with your horse i use a 12ft rope

Ditto to all of this. There was someone standing by his head but I am training him so that everything can be done with out him being tied.
We can do things like tail brushing, leg picking up and lateral flexion in the middle of the field without a rope or head collar in sight :)

that's brilliant, great work on the free-standing stuff too, what a lovely horse :)
