Genuine child friendly small pony wanted to help young people learn horsemanship/riding/personal development at our small horsemanship facility. Can't afford payment, but lots of love, free board & lodgings and hoof care offered in return for a small amount of good behaviour.
Looks/age unimportant, ideally under 12.2hh, technical unsoundness acceptable if manageable. Sound to trot.

Any age acceptable so long as he's not about to drop dead and have a stable full of kids in hysterics!! What's the soundness problem?

Ha ha no he wouldn't drop dead he's good for his age. I just asked Mum about him though and she thinks he is with somebody already for similar use.

Hi Intouch, did you try IHWT or ILPH or ISPCA? I know Festina Lente got 5 or 6 ponies/horses from them ( I think was ILPH) to do ELA ( Equine assisted learning), which sounds similar to what you want to do. I know they sent a couple back (because they were too big, mosyt of their clients turned out to be small children) but they definitely had some joy with some of the smaller ponies. If you google it you should get their websites up. Are you in the UK? I'm sure there are equivalents over there... Good Luck!!!

I have one - Jenny knows him. Not sure if he'd be suitable for you though? He's brat, needing work which I don't have time for right now (pregnant), but completely bombproof. He's 12.3 approx and fat as a fool despite being on. Barefoot and proud - sound over all surfaces, including hardcore.

Am needing to downsize so would be more than willing to pay for half his journey up to you if we can find a reasonable shipper.

His main issue is that he's a clever little pony who wants to get his own way all the time and do as little work as possible.

God I just read through my post and I've left out so many words!!! This is happening all the time now, it's embarrassing! Since I've been pregnant I've been horribly forgetful.
