What bargins did everyone get at the show? Was there good value? Who had the best stands? Any new additions or noticeable absences?

Best I could do was a Toggi XC top for myself (Berney's) and a Shires Polypad for the boy (Homestead), both half price ... not too bad I guess (never got bargains before - Day 1 is def the day to go!)
ETA - Also nice John Whitaker brushes in Homestead around the 10 euro mark, they're 14 euro down with us, but may be cheaper in Homesetad all the time.... nice though!

I had a little look around but didn't see anything I liked very much. I did go in with my sensible hat on though and said I wouldn't buy anything. If anybody sees champagne Cavallo jods for less than €200 please let me know though

Leather organiser and new mini-wallet for €50
Didn't think the range was as good as last year.

Oscar spent his birthday money on one of those, a nice pair of black jods and bought Zoe a pink crop for 30 euro.
I got a stone Horseware jacket and top for 20 euro which will go with the new brown jods I bought....co-ordinated for once!
Got Zoe's birthday pressie (two Breyer models) for a lot cheaper than at home. £26 (sterling) for the lot.
I wanted a green and gold browband for Parsnip to go with his flag fleece and green boots but they didn't have it in his size.
Not too bad pricewise I thought.

Visited the German NH stand and bought some amazing thingies that start off as a lead rope, convert to a neck strap and ended up today as grass reins. Bought 2 and wish I'd got a lot more! e10.

I bought LONG BOOTS!!
So.. on Sunday evening i was running to watch the Grand Prix, found myself at a boot stand announcing "If you can fit me for a pair of long boots I will buy them". I blame the local ventriloquist! They had the right foot size, lovely calf fit, tall enough for a lanky yoke like me, woo hoooooo! Not a fancy name, in fact the are brandless, but they feel great, and were only 259, compared to the 420 I spend last year on ill-fitting Sergios!
BF winded the assistant up "will she jump higher with these boots on?" and got responses "oh yes, yes" and lots of ernest head bobbing (where is that icon gone!!).
Also bought an Ariat Jacket for €50 from 150, but only bought it as I was freezing! Oh and a pink scarf :)

The Fortune teller told me :
I married my perfect partner.
If I was thinking of doing any exams(PTT) I should go ahead with it and earn some money for myself !!!!
My son is a hoot and will settle down eventually with something he really loves - I live in hope.
My daughter is very happy - we had made a very diffucult decision but it was the right one - nearly fell off the chair then.
I could or maybe should do a councelling(sp) course because I would be good talking to people and helping them with their problems!!
Will move house next year - either sell a house and move or sell 2 houses and move - nearly fell off the chair again there.
Lots more that made total sense.

The fortune teller is a standard for me every year at the horse show. Sometimes it is really spooky and more precise that you would expect. I do believe there is something in it, I would love to go to a clairvoyent - anyone know any good ones.

I'm too chicken to get my fortune told - although I'm so nosy I would really want to know at the same time! :D
I bought Easy plait spray because my Supreme Stuff ran out and the sewn in plaits really need something to keep flyaways down.
I also bought a lovely brown lambswool numnah from the same stand and I got a new Alexander James jacket because my other one got destroyed in the deluge on Wednesday morning - but lovely boyfriend bought that for me because the nasty bank took all my money before the horse show... Yes I am spoilt...
