A few months ago I got a bottle of this in the IV Horse StableLab Team testing kit. I asked a friend of mine to test it, as her horse had bad mudfever at the time. Results were noticeable within a week for her.

I decided to try it out on Ali in early August as a "preventative measure", as my fields were very muddy. Ali has never had mud fever in the time that I've owned him though (I've owned him for over a year).

I have to say it makes grooming muddy legs so much easier! The mud just slides off.

It's a bit messy to use and I recommend using disposable gloves. Apart from that, I think it's a great product and after seeing the results on my friend's horse I think everyone with a horse prone to bad mudfever should try it. I would also recommend it to people who want "easy to brush off muddy legs"! :p

There is now a new spray on version as well :)

This might be handy for my horse, he hates his legs being brushed so if this would make it easier then it won't be as bad!
