Sealskinz gloves - worth every penny of the seemingly extorinate price, thye genuinely are wind, water and abrasion proof. You're still totally dextrous in them so can do rugs etc. and they keep even my hands warm (have reynauds, so very bad circulation).
Ariat Powerstrech jods - fleecy inside, wind proof and made from toasty polartech! Outside is smooth so nothing sticks. Can be got for less than $100 from the US too.
Spongella - found in the cleaning section of supermarkets, little rectangular sponges inside a plasticy pot scrubber cover. Cost €1 each and get dried on mud off quickly and with no compalints about use on face/ears from oh-so-sensitive TB. Brilliant
Fleece welly socks - keep your toes toasty. Currently in TK Maxx for €3.99!!
Lycra tail bags - wash, condition and palit tail. Stuff in bag. Turn pony out. Drag in for dressage 7 days later and take down tail, comb through and it's show ready. About $5 each, fantastic time saver

thats a great idea
on the human side of it
My hands have started peeling and getting sore the past few weeks but clinique water therapy seems to be sorting it out.
Keep thinking of more things:
For Humans:
Ariat Glaciers
Kyra K Waterproof Gloves
Anky Technostech Tops - Really light and warm, great for layering
Ariat Ventura Tops - Same as Anky tops
Cowboy Magic Dry Skin Lotion for your hands
For Horses:
DressCircle Sherpas - they just look so warm & cosy in them

Fleece neck warmer - doesn't get in the way like a scarf and oh so warm! I am always in mine. Lots of companies have them, mine is Fat Face courtesy of Teegee last Christmas!
Caramax lip balm - wonderful lip relief and protection when riding in the cold blustery days
Thinsulate socks - mmm warm!
Fleece lined wellies - I have a funky pair of black and grey fleece lined wellies. So much cosier than my Hunters on a frosty winters morning

I've found a new winter wonder. :)
My cousin who's a racehorse trainer, donated me her jockey's waterproof riding trousers as they no longer fit her. They are fab - really light and comfy and quite fitted. They are perfect for hacking etc. They fit under my half chaps and you can wear jods or jeans or whatever under them. Now they would probably be a bit slippery for doing serious flatwork, but to keep you dry on a hack they are fab!

Ooh, just saw the Tally Ho ones further down the page - they look fab! I presume you just wear them as breeches and don't wear any other trousers underneath? Do you have those Storm?

Got one on Saturday in TRI. Its pretty light so I was surprised how amazingly warm it kept me yesterday plus its water proof would def recommend it. Plus I got mine half price as there was embroidery on it from another company :D
