Full or X-Full, don't care how old or battered it is. 2yo is a confirmed headcollar destroyer and I refuse to continue buying new ones. Unfortunately he must wear one (stud rules - for ID) so it must be leather so it is breakable.

Anyone?

i have one at home, its a full size - but was too small for my 17hh ID (big XF head) but fitted my 16hh hunter fine. Its been worn about 2 times...i just like the normal nylon ones. its brown leather

the only problem is I wont be home until the 19th of december....

Holmestead are usually good for cheap and cheerful ones. I only have small ones here.

They only had Cob & Pony in those and had no Full in the warehouse, they weren't exactly helpful when I asked if they knew when they would be back in stock either!

I was going to suggest Holmestead as well, but I think Elite Saddlery in Ballitore had the cheap Shires ones last time I was in there?

Im sure I have seen velcro head collars on some website that break if too much pressure is put on but will velcro back together .

has anyone else seen these ?

Or equestrian direct ( near the airport ) are very competitive you might get a leather head collar there ?

Karon - those are the fieldsafe ones, none of those in stock either  I do have a headcollar for him but it's his "good" Handmade one with name plate and rolled nose etc. I got from the USA which he is NOT wearing in the field!!

Those are what I wanted, none in full in stock and no notion of when they would be. I'll be up North in Jan. it might just have to wait until then, he has
a neckband on for ID so YO should be ok about it
