You are supposed to use the Waterfords bigger than the normal size you use. They hang down on the tongue.
ClaireL I think I have a spare one but would need to dig it out of the bit black hole!

Its for the horse in my pictures- Davy's Lad. He has a big mouth and it's really difficult to get bits for him (I'm still seriously experimenting!)
Yeah it is supposed to be a size bigger so could really do with a 6 3/4" but don't know if they exist!!!
If you have one that would be really great!
pm me if you happen to find it!

Have you tried ebay clairel ?? I found it really good for sourcing bits,... One seller had a tack shop, they didnt have the size i wanted listed on ebay but had one in their shop and i got it for the same price. most are in the UK but postage wasnt too expensive

there is a website called www.divoza.com . They have them but not in the size you want on the website but they might have less common sizes just not advertised on the site ?
Homestead ordered a waterford in for me... was in in two weeks
