Mark Todd Long Leather Boots

Just wanted to recommend them as I absolutely love mine!

Before I bought them, I tried various brands such as Brogini, Mountain Horse, Ariat etc. and none of them fitted me well, but the Mark Todds fit perfectly. They didn't take long to break in either, and they look very smart (they're made from Italian leather). They seem to be lasting well (I bought them just before Christmas) and I have to admit they're so comfy that I tend to use them for everyday riding as well!

I highly recommend them :)

I tried these boots on on Saturday, and I didnt like them so much...too big around the ankle and wouldnt close on my calf...

Would you reccommend anything else? I need new long boots ASAP!!!

ohhh they are nice !! ur lucky they fit you...i went to buy them in TRI too...but they were too long for my legs...the girl rang to see if they did them in a shorter leg....they didnt :( so i had go back searching...
they were soo nice and comfy ! im jealous !!

I have two pairs of long leather boots, both Mountain Horse...
I find them to be a great fit and very comfortable and hardwearing :nod:

My first pair (sportive Hi-Riders) must be six years old now and they'e still going strong
(although the zip needs to be replaced in one of them).

My second pair (SCS System) are my competition boots...
I have the stirrip treads that match them too :)

I love my ariat bromonts insulated - they are not as 'smart' looking as a pair of standard leather boots (have a pair of broginis which, since I got the ariats, haven't seen the light of day!) I do everything in them hunted in them all winter & though they are insulated they aren't too hot to wear in the summer...super comfortable no breaking in and waterproof

Ah I'm quite short and they were perfect on my legs - most of the other brands I tried were too long as well. You should also take into consideration that they drop a bit when you're breaking them in :)

These look great. OH got them for his mum for Christmas and they are fab. Saw Mike Ryan in a pair too. I love the fact that they are insulated AND waterproof. They stop at size nine for men though I think, otherwise OH was going to get himself a pair.

They are starting to make Mens sizes from this autumn after all the shops whinging to Ariat!! They listened to us finally!
